Google Maps

It could be fun to use the mapping features to make a map of all place you have family lived and it makes life easier when you know where are you going to, it's realy cool!
With Google Maps, we can map almost anything, we put in address, search for..., zoom out and in to see how the search to the map area, we could use the street view and find out the location & get direction.
I used the Google Maps to search my Family direction. It's so interesting!

Time have gone so fast, 10 weeks ago I have learned a lot of new interesting & fun!
Some of my favorite discoveries have been Flickr, You tube, Technorati, Library Elf, Library Thing & Bloglines. I really like Flickr, this was my favorite lesson, it was fun! You tube was great too, this is I have used before. Library Elf & Library Thing are good for customer use at HCPL. Avatars was a fun lesson, we can change everthing with a click of the mouse, with the doll, we can playing with dress up, change hair, hat & clothes....
Podcasts & Download Media was interesting too...
There were so many things I've learned about 2.0 over the past several week....I hope I have more time to pratice & get used to it!

I just read Librivox & Wowio, that great. I have enjoyed music, movies & audio books. Thanks for new Technology!
Librivox has several authors that would be interesting to listen to, it deals with audiobooks, from there you may use them for whatever purpose you like.
Wowio is a site that will be useful for customers & personal to look some classic tittles.

We are behind since our system went down. Thanks for great Tech. services departments for getting us back!
Social networking sites, my space, facebook.... I enjoyed viewing the pictures on Dogster & Catster. My space, facepage, I think it's a real danger, but all my kids had space, facepage....
I don't like sharing information on my space.

Things have changed so much, so fast in Technology, It's better & easier than before.
TV, Computer, Cell phone, Car was cool with new technology.
I love learning new technology in Internet, Microsoft office program, it's been difficult for us to keep up with all the new programs, but Technology was great for life.

Wiki?
A wiki is computer software that allows users to create, edit & link web pages.
A wiki account can be changed or updated.
I have a login for ihcpl wiki. I think wiki are good for people, who want to share their information in the group of people and project working together.
Wiki would be very useful for library, they could put the subjects & links to the catalog, from there customers would find a wiki subject, also wiki is helpful for planning meeting or conference too.
Wiki are great!

I wish I had more time to play around with it. As I learned how it works, I understand more uses for blogging.
Technorati is a keyword search in blog posts, in taqs and in the blog directory.
Technorati collects millions of blog every day.

Delicious was interesting ! A social bookmarking allows users to bookmark many sites then tag them with many words. I have added several of my favorite sites to the list. I have found the comments and tags. Also I can see how Delicious would be helpful if you have a lot of bookmarks, it seems to use for references, it's really easy to use on different computers with this delicious account.

Library Elf is cool! From that I have found my item due dates & items on hold, keeping track of my library items is a good thing.

Feedster on Katy weather!
It was hard to get in & understand what I have to do, but finally I make it!
I've been using it to follow the weather, the hurrican season. It's pretty nice to follow. Just to make sure I knew what I was doing.

I'm not feel comfortable about sharing things on the internet because the safety.
I started learning blogging, I've never attemped blogging before, technology is everywhere today, we need to keep up to date to it. It's very important.
I am very interested how it works, I enjoy learning new things.
